This is probably one of my shortest posts ever. Just want to let the EmTube fans that apparently the application is connecting to Youtube just fine and and is once again usable. Thanks to Finest Fones Blog.
Mr-X says it's working on the Nokia N95 8gb, so it should work just fine on our N82's as well. A few people from Howard Forums are reporting that it works with their N82. If not, just keep using Mobitubia (my favorite way to watch Youtube).

Shozu: Upload Photos & Video To Picasa, Flickr, Youtube, Ovi, Photobucket, Twitter & Many More
I've been a huge fan of Shozu for awhile but have never got around to talking about it here. It's like the Share Online applications times ten. Shozu allows you to upload photos and videos to most popular social networking and media sharing websites. One click uploading and multiple destinations at once are supported with Shozu. You have the option to tie it in with your camera application, allowing it to ask if you want to upload after each photo is taken or automatically upload every photo. What really made me fall in love is they recently added Ovi (I don't use Flickr anymore) as a destination. Check out more destinations...
What destinations are supported?
Flickr, Facebook,Youtube, Twitter, Photobucket, Friendster, Blip.tv, Box, Buzznet, Cellfish, Kodak Easy Share Gallery, Picasa, Blogger, Live Journal, Vox, Wordpress, and more.
Basic Features
Tags, descriptions, titles, comments, feeds, geotagging, and friends photos are all supported by Shozu. You can also add email addresses as destinations for sending photos and videos. Like I said you can upload to multiple destinations at once.
Shozu takes photo sharing with my N82 to the next level. I use it in many different ways. If I am going to share live photos with you here I can set my phone to upload all pictures I take when the setting is on. All this is done in the background, I don't even notice. If I don't want them all to upload, I can tell Shozu you ask me after each picture. Or I can keep those settings off and just upload up to 10mb at once when I am ready to sort through my photos to see which I want to share. Multiple photos can be uploaded at once There are a ton of settings to go customize your experience. It's recommended that you have an unlimited data plan cuz as you can tell a lot of data will be transferred.
I've found that Shozu also handles uploading better than Share Online 3.0 does. If an upload gets interrupted by a call or text message, the upload continues once the connection is available again. Sometimes with Share I have broken downloads and the photos don't upload. Shozu has proved to be very reliable. Also it's great that you can setup all these different accounts from your computer on Shozu's website than have your phone's Shozu application automatically synced so your not sitting there punching in a whole bunch of usernames and passwords on your N82's keypad. It can be a killer.
Check out a video guide below someone made. It's showing Shozu on the Nokia N95. It works the same on the N82. Keep in mind that the version he's using is slightly old, Shozu has recently updated their applications.
Head over to shozu.com now and download this free application.

Have You Upgraded Your N82 Firmware Yet To v20.0.062? Tips For Upgrading...
Well its finally here. The new Nokia N82 firmware. I've been seeing reports all over the internet of people starting up their PC Suite and Nokia Software Updater and downloading the newest firmware, version 20.0.062.
Tips before you upgrade:
- Even with the User Data Preservation feature of the N82 that keeps all your applications, settings, calendar entries, email accounts, etc. - Still backup your phone before updating. Use the backup tool in pc suite and backup all your important stuff. You never know when something can go wrong.
- Make sure you have a secure and fast internet connection. Make sure your connections are plugged in good.
- Set your phone on a flat surface like a desk or table. Don't put the data cable where a dog or person will hit the cable and disturb the update process. You can brick your phone like this then your in a mess of trouble.
- When your update says that its finished the phone might look off like its dead. Leave it alone for 5-15 minutes sometimes it takes awhile to boot up. Eventually it should boot up on its own after the update.
- Make sure your battery is fully charged before the update.
- I personally try not have anything running in the background on the computer and disable the screensaver just to ensure nothing goes wrong.
If anyone else has any tips please share in the comments below. Let us know if you've successfully upgraded to the newest N82 firmware.
Also check out this article by Steve Litchfield from All About Symbian. He has a few screenshots of the new firmware, showcasing the new features including geotagging and flash 3 support.

Mobitubia Youtube Application Gets A Crucial Update
Remember that awesome application I showed you guys last month called Mobitubia? The Youtube player that allows you to watch free youtube on your Nokia N82, and works good even on an Edge connection for the North American folks? Well it won't work anymore unless you go to their website and download the latest version. I guess what happened is Youtube changed up some of their settings, in turn the videos won't work through Mobitubia's previous version anymore.
The slick and fast developer jumped on it and fixed the problem.
The newest version of Mobitubia is v.176 build 4. Click here to go to the website and download it.
If you haven't tried out this great Youtube solution for your Nokia N82, check out my past article to get more information and screenshots.

Watch YouTube On Your Nokia N82 With Mobitubia For Free
Ever get bored waiting for your lover while she's doing her makeup or trying on clothes (sorry ladies). Or sitting in the airport getting stuck at a railroad crossing? Chances are if you own a Nokia N82, your not bored. Now with Mobitubia, there's no chance in hell your gonna be bored. With Mobitubia, you get full accesss to the Youtube database on your Nokia N82 in good quality, full screen format. The load time is actually pretty quick as well. On an Edge connection here in the States, a 2 minute video loads in about 1.5 minutes, and you can start watching the video even before it fully loads. For you lucky European users, you'll have pretty much no wait time on a 3g connection. And if your in a WiFi area, this works great as well. Best of all you can save your viewed clips to your memory card if you want to check em out later, without having to reload them.
Mobitubia loads up with a decently clean interface. The icons are slightly choppy, but not annoying. You have so many of Youtube's normal features in this application.
If you go to the Youtube icon you get the following:
- Recently Featured
- Popular Clips
- Open Web Clip (if you know the URL)
- View by Youtube ID
- Clip Search

You have so many options while watching a video clip as well.
- Play/Pause
- Replay
- Status Bar (show, hide, autohide)
- Max Frame Skip (keep it at 0)
- Save Clip (when finished viewing, to your phone or card)
- Back and Exit
Amazing enough, this application is free to use but donations are encouraging to keep up development of this great application. Also, make sure you have an unlimited data plan or use this on a WiFi connection, Mobitubia uses tons of data.
To never get bored ever again, click here to download Mobitubia and watch YouTube on the Nokia N82. Be sure to come back and give us your thoughts.
