It's been awhile since I picked my favorite theme of the week, so today I'll pick two.
Tribal by Xavier
First up is dark brownish-green called Tribal. The theme master Xavier really nailed it on the head modifying the popular Flahorn icon pack. I really love the amount of detail put into this theme. Check out the screenshot...

Another Flahorn icon pack, this time with a red and grey color scheme behind it. I love how simple and clean this theme is. Dhanusaud is another up and coming theme maker.

Theme Factor - Huge Contest Sponsored by Symbian Planet - Tons Of Free Themes For Us!
I got an email last week from the fellas at SymbianPlanet.net. They decided to start their first theme competition called "Theme Factor". Basically all the top theme masters from Italy were invited to create their absolute best themes and see if they can win the competition. The contest has been going on for a few weeks and finally the final judging has been completed.
I was graciously invited to be on the panel of judges which included Ricky from Symbian Guru, Gerry from Nokia Addict, plus others. We rated each of the 21 top themes sent to us for Style, Technicality, Subject, and Originality.
The winning theme has not been posted yet, but for now you can check out some of themes that were entered in the competition and download your favorites. If you have the time you can probably spend about 30 minutes going through all of these themes.

Free N82 Theme: Devil Blue By Travis
Lately I've been checking out more themes by artists other than my usual favorites Pizero, Babi, and Taieb. This clean and extremely customized blue was made by Travis, a great up and coming theme master.

I've always thought that dark backgrounds and bright text colors colors look great against the N82. I hardly ever install white background colored themes on my phones, which is why you probably never see any showcased here.

Free N82 Theme: Grey Orange & Blue By Babi
Theme master Babi is at it again using unique colors and color schemes to dress your Nokia N82 in a new theme. Each theme features a grey background with metallic blue or orange bars and text.
My personal favorite is the Grey & Orange theme probably because it mostly matches the colors here at the blog.

Free N82 Theme: Dreaming Blue & Green Of A Beautiful Beach
I'm at it again with my bipolar love for various N82 themes. I find myself jumping from artist to artist and color to color. Black & Orange themes have been my absolute favorite the past few months, but theme creator Babi just came in and stole my heart with his latest theme set. 
Dreaming Green has been around for awhile, but recently got an update. Dreaming Blue is the theme that is brand new and really looks amazing on my black N82. The blue sky and water blend perfectly with the orange sunset, and my active standby icons and calendar info are still legible, giving my phone a new exotic look to it. I've only had this theme on my phone for a day and have already got a few looks from various friends just glancing.
This screenshot really doesn't do the blue theme justice, install it on your N82 and you'll see what I mean.
Props go to Babi for this great theme. I wonder how long it will last on my ever-changing N82?

Free Theme: BYO By Travis Is My Current Favorite - Another Black & Orange
It seems like every week I fall in love with a new theme. Thanks to my pal Rav from Symbian Life Blog I am bringing to you BYO made by a new (to me at least) theme maker named Travis. BYO is one of the most customized themes I've seen, I just love the icon pack and all the colors. I think I'm falling in love with black and orange themes. Am I the only one? Photos: The Real Route 66 "Mainstreet of America" And A New Theme For Your N82
Hey hope everyone's having a great week. Tomorrow is my last day of vacation in Laughlin, Nevada and I'm only down $20 at the Blackjack tables. Not bad huh? Could be worse, my girlfriend's Dad is town a few hundred bills. Ouch!
Yesterday we visited an old old old cowboy town in Arizona called Oatman. It's known for it's donkey's and ghosts. This little town's main street is the actual Route 66 that is so famous in movies and songs. Thousands of tourists visit this little cowboy town every year to see a small part of America's wild wild west. Check out some of the pictures my N82 captured...
Surprisingly the 115 degree Fahrenheit temperatures are somewhat tolerable because of a decent breeze coming through. It's not something that the ice cold river water or the air conditioner in the casino's can't fix.
Free Themes For Your Nokia N82...
I thought I'd throw in some cool themes for you guys to check out. Bandez has recently caught my attention with his unique custom icons. The original icons are changed into cubes and for the third party application icons he uses the same graphic but gives them a cube effect as well. See what I mean below...
He also has a grey and yellow version of this free N82 theme, right now I'm using yellow and it looks great.

Free N82 Themes To Welcome In The Summer
It's really been heating up here in Southern California. It was in the low 90's the past few days where I live and its only getting hotter. We can beat the head by going to the beach which is about 10 minutes from my home. Check out these free summer themes for your N82 that will surely make you want to catch some sun.

Free Theme: Black & Red (Dotted Wallpaper) by Taieb
I'm constantly changing themes right now cuz it seems like every day someone comes out with a new design that I can't resist. Right now I have the Black & Red Dotted Wallpaper Symbian S60 theme on my N82 mostly because I enjoy the custom folders & icons. The little icons in the music player also look great. One bad thing is it's missing custom icons for certain applications like Google Maps and Shozu. Either way hats of to Taieb for his hard work.

In A Theater Or Dark Room? Use Your N82 In Stealth With A Theme
The genious theme maker Pizero has created an extremely useful theme that makes your N82 give off the least amount of light possible using no icons or images. Have you ever been sitting in a theater watching a movie or play and recieved a text or email that you knew you had to check? It can be imbarressing taking out your phone and reading it because of the amount of light the phone gives off. It distracts and annoys others trying to enjoy the production. Check out this theme called Stealth By Pizero that helps solve your problem.
I actually tried out this theme the other day when I got to see the movie screening of "Get Smart" with Steve Carrel in Hollywood. It was a hilarious movie if anyones interested. I changed my theme to Stealth and put my brightness all the way to the lowest setting. I recieved about 3-4 texts and a few emails during the movie and check them without my girlfriend sitting next to me being bothered. Usually I get an elbow to the ribs if I try this with any other theme.
Well done Pizero! Hats off to you. No more bruises.

Mac or PC? Show Your Love With A Theme
Lets face it. All computer guys have their favorite operating system which they take pride in using. Usually it's Windows or Macs. Personally I use Windows when I have to, but I'm more of a Linux fan. Linux Ubuntu beats the crap out of both of those operating systems. But we won't get into that since this isn't the right grounds.
Whichever OS it is that tickles your fancy, why not show your preference by bringing it away from your computer and into the world. Take your Symbian powered N82 to your buddy of the opposite OS and throw it in his face. Laugh even harder if he/she is using a Windows Mobile device or even funnier, an iPhone.
Check out these themes for S60 3rd Edition powered phones that give your N82 the look of Ubuntu, Windows Vista, or Leopard for Macs.

Free N82 Themes: Black & ... By Pizero
Here's another Pizero post. This guy never stops. These themes are all black with custom icons. It comes in four variants with touches of Green, Purple, Aqua, or Amber. He mentions that Pink is still in the works for the ladies. My personal favorite theme is the Aqua, but all these will look great. The Aqua blue looks great with the N82 black.

Free Themes: Insanity And A Few Others Worth A Look
Browsing the web today for a new look for my N82 I came across a great theme post by Daily Mobile. It has a handful of themes that all look great. My personal favorite is Insanity by Giambi. I love the color and the simplicity. It looks great on the N82 black and probably just as good on the titanium/silver colored N82.

Wednesday Themesday Comes Early: Wheels & Music S60 Themes
I know I've been super late on posting themes every Wednesday for the past few weeks. This week I decided to post some up a day early for you guys and gals. I've tried out both of this and they look great on the Nokia N82.
Here's the one I currently have on my black N82. It's called Wheels by Gnokkia. Custom icons look great and the theme is clean and easy to read.

Next up is Music by Pizero. This dark red theme with music notes gives a classy look to your phone. Using it on the N82 black looks really good.

Free S60 Theme: Make Your N82 Bleed!
This theme is for fans of blood and gore. Like horror and slasher films and Halloween? Bloody by Taieb is the perfect theme for you. Especially if you own an N82 black. I have this theme on the N95 8gb (which is of course black) that I'm trialing and it looks downright evil. It has instantly become one of my favorites. Not sure it will look so good on the N82 silver but ya never know. If you also read Symbian Addict then you've already seen this theme posted earlier today.

A Huge Dose Of Free N82 Themes
Once again I was late on posting up new themes on Wednesday. It's getting hard to stick to my word but at least we're getting new themes today. This one should be good since I have some pretty excited news to give you, but I'll wait till the end of the article for that.
First up is a pretty unique theme called Paper. This theme was created by the famous S60 theme artist Pizero. The custom icons and list highlight styles really set this theme apart from the rest.

Next up is Seagulls by Taeib. This one is a cool blue color with once again great icons. Because of the Seagulls it's probably not something I'd want to keep on my phone for long, but it works great to get away from your normal gradient background theme.
And now for the good news. This free theme can be found at Taiebs brand new website where you can find all of his latest themes. He has always been one of my favorite theme makers but his themes were always scattered around the web. This news was brought to my attention by Zach from Symbian In Motion, one of my favorite Symbian blogs for reviews. Some of Taieb's themes were showcased at Symbian In Motion so Zach is happy to hear Taieb now has his own website.

Themesday Wednesday: Warm Colors & Posh Green For Your N82
With all the news of the Nokia N82 black coming in I missed the normal Wednesday Themesday post I do every week. This week I have fallen in love with a great theme though, so this should make up for it.
Browsing the Symbian Life blog the other day I came across a post with a S60 theme series called Warm by Giambi. This theme comes in many colors including green, orange, yellow, red, blue, and pink for the ladies. All of theme look great on the phone. My favorites are the yellow and blue. The custom theme pack is also solid and covers almost all common 3rd party applications with the exception of a few. Believe me they look 10x better on the actual phone then they do in the screenshots below.

Wednesd...I Mean Thursday Themesday: Black, White, And Make Your Own Theme
Howdy folks. This weeks Wednesday Themesday is coming a day late. Sorry again people I just had a long crappy day yesterday. You really can't do much when you have a broken down car. Spent hours at the shop waiting for it to get fixed.
The first thing I want to show you is something that is new, but not super new. If you keep up with other Nokia & Symbian blogs, especially the ones in my bookmarks down the right side of this page you have heard about the new website called OwnSkin.com.
At OwnSkin.com you can make your own themes by uploading photos you have on your computer or using the preset ones they have. This is the solution for those wishing to have full screen wallpapers of their friends or family or favorite supermodel photo. Besides the background you can change the icons, battery and signal meters, columns and clocks, and much more.
